Airbnb Quick Compare: A Redesigned Wishlist Experience

Users struggled to confidently choose a stay from their saved list, relying on the organizer while scrolling between listings increased cognitive load and delayed decisions.


After introducing a dedicated Quick Compare experience with side by side clarity and lightweight emoji voting, 100% of test users found decision making easier, booking confidence increased to 4.6 out of 5, and all organizers expressed intent to reserve, indicating stronger alignment and improved conversion potential.

Designed an AI-powered fintech platform to compare Bank CDs, Brokerage CDs, and U.S. Treasuries using personalized after-tax returns, eliminating manual calculations across 3 product types in one unified view.


Redesigned the results experience from vertical to horizontal layout and validated after-tax yield as the core differentiator — preferred by 90% of 51 users and a feature missing from 100% of competitors. Introduced AI match scoring, "Why This Fits" insights, and explicit action flows (Tax Breakdown + Provider), improving decision clarity and building user trust through transparency over black-box recommendations.
